In my Heaven, there'll be angels
That can jump and bark and speak,
They won't be just the people kind,
They'll have feathers, hair and beak.

They'll walk along beside Him,
Both the wild and the tame,
As they answer to His every call
For He's always known their names.

I'm sure, as He sits upon His throne,
They'll be lying at His feet,
And on His shoulder, a bluebird will sing
His melody so sweet.

Oh, I don't want to go to Heaven
If my friends can't go along,
I'll miss my dear old cat and dog
And my cockatiel's song!

I can't imagine Heaven
With no animals around!
To me, it's not a Heaven
Unless animals abound.

A place where all the old ones
Are no longer old at all,
And can run through fields of flowers
To answer their God's call.

All the sick ones will be well again,
The abused ones will know love,
And, I'm very sure, my old friends
Will wait for me above!

Oh! That's the kind of Heaven
That I hope that there will be,
Where I can walk with my old friends
Throughout eternity!
